The
International Society for Sephardic Progress deplores the
new Mel Gibson film, The Passion of the Christ. Shelomo
Alfassa, the ISFSP Executive Director stated:
"This
movie is a putrid attempt at demonstrating the Christian story
of the crucifixion. The movie was not even based on the facts
as written in the Christian Bible, but a combination of Christian
stories all rolled up into a story of bloodbath and a story
of blame."
For
an accurate understanding of the anti-Semitism contained in the
film, Mr. Alfassa has reviewed the film, it is presented here
in its entirety. To open the review, click here.
