The
International Society for Sephardic Progress through its media
conduit the World Sephardi News Service (WSNS) is collecting
email condolences from the general public to be delivered to the
Office of the Hahambashi (Chief Rabbi) of Turkey.
Condolences
have been coming in since the horrendous double suicide attack
on the Istanbul synagogues. Well wishes, sincere words of caring,
heartfelt emotion and written tears have served to bridge the
distance from fellow Jews throughout Israel and the Diaspora.
Those
wanting to send their well wishes and condolences to the Turkish
Jewish community may do so to Istanbul@sephardinews.com. This
is an official project of the WSNS and all messages will be printed
collected and forwarded to the Chief Rabbi's office in Istanbul.
May
the memory of those who were lost be blessed. Baruch Dayan
HaEmet, Hashem Yikom Damo.
